This is only thing in life that I will “give up” on…

So, I have been trying to work with one person in this industry for my entire life, just one person. I remember when I was 11, I tried to contact her and tell her what I had told no one…that I was being sexually abused. Then in high school, I tried again but it yielded no response.  In my mind, I always saw her as the mother I never had and I wanted to learn everything from her. Up until recently, I still wanted her to be my mentor.
My mission in life is to inspire the world. I love to spread awareness and I am constantly perfecting my craft. I realized a meeting between me and her may never happen. It’s heart breaking, I am crying now just thinking about it. However, I understand the way the universe works and perhaps it just isn’t in the cards. Maybe this isn’t what God wants. Believe me, I have prayed about it for years and, I have always just been ONE degree of separation from this person. But if it doesn’t happen, I am okay with that now. I know God has even better plans, if that is the case!
I don’t believe in having idols because God says there is no one above me. We should never put our trust in people, but only in God. In life, you have to learn how to not give up but just readjust your dreams. Things change and so will you. Honestly, that’s the beauty of life. As you grow, so will your dreams.
I have learned a lot of things about this industry over the years. I worked with many people in the beginning who promised me the world then never delivered. Which is why  before entering this industry you have to determine what IS YOUR WORLD. If your world revolves around this industry then you will be broken. However, if you understand The Higher Power and the importance of eternal life in Heaven, then rejection won’t seem so bad. As long as you’re doing what you love to do, that’s the most important thing. It’s about the craft and boy, do I love my craft
