I have transitioning medium length hair! While I am going through the “natural hair journey,” I will often wear hair units or wigs. My funny hair story is a hairstylist in LA who has A List celebrity clients told me that she would consider transforming one my wigs to change the curl pattern. Then she sent a text a week later to inform that she was too busy with her TV show clients to finish the wig. In a moment of frustration, I stated if you can’t do it, so be it. She gave me 24 hours to pick up the wig or it would be thrown in the garbage. I didn’t really think she would toss it and negotiated for the trimmings or else. A week later after no follow up correspondence, I waived a white flag and kindly asked where is the wig? She responded, “in the garbage”. Oh my, she won the wig war!
