I grew up without a home, mother or father.  I have been on my own since my eyes opened for the first time in a Los Angeles Hospital, sometime in July. Growing up, I knew what I wanted out of life even as far back as five: setting up four green crates to make a platform then climbing on top, standing with my wobbly, scarred legs, with an old karaoke microphone stand, singing and performing my heart out. I never wanted to be anything else but me, who I was, when I stood on those crates; I knew I wanted to perform.

One of my biggest dreams in life was to be on the Disney Channel, which came true, and lasted for six years. My perfect moment, my right time and the green light, which I fantasized about every day, every night, was that my mother would come back and I would have a home. Neither of those happened. However, my dreams came true with Disney.
When we have big dreams and high expectations that we’ve fantasized about every day, every night since we can remember, we want it to be just the way we imagined. Often times, we wait for the “perfect” moment, the “right” opportunity or for someone to give us the “green light.”
In reality, that doesn’t always happen. Sometimes the perfect moment, the right time will never present itself. Unfortunately, that green light won’t ever flicker for some of us.
However, that should never stop you from achieving the things you desire. We need to change our mindset; that every moment IS the right moment to go after whatever it is you want. If we have learned anything about time, it is that it does not stand still, and neither should we.
Dreams are meant to be chased! However, we overlook the FACT that they are also meant to be caught.  Life is too short to be unhappy and we deserve to conquer.
Most importantly, you do not need a “green light” or someoneelse’s approval in order to be whom or what you want to be. Honestly, some people will try to prevent you from achieving your dreams and living the life you want because they’re afraid. They are afraid how that will affect them or maybe they’re afraid because they aren’t brave.
Regardless, you have to do what is best for you and your life.Dreams only need the support of one person and that’s you.
It’s normal to be afraid to take chances in life; but remember, it’s the chances that we don’t take that we always regret.

Know that falling stars are meant to be seen, dreams are meant to be reality and that we all are entitled to love. Possibilities are formed by chances and life was given to you for purpose. Things that we think are unreachable are in our grasp; so reach out. That’s life, that’s beauty; and living out your dreams is your destiny. Nothing is a mistake.
There was never a right moment in my life for me to do anything. Nevertheless, I did it all anyway. You shouldn’t spend another day without being one step closer to what makes you happy. I know
realistically you may not be able to achieve your dreams overnight. However, you can make one step to come closer to what you want to do. The key to success is our dreams.
Dreams aren’t instant gratifications. Dreams take time and devotion. Desires need nutriment and drive.
Don’t wait to be the boss you want to be.
Don’t wait to be wife or mother you want to be.
Don’t wait to be the powerful woman to you want to be.
Don’t wait to be the doctor you want to be.
Don’t wait to be in love with the woman you want it to be.
Don’t wait another moment to tell people how you feel about them.
 Don’t wait another moment.
Don’t wait
Don’t.

The truth of the matter is, life is much like surfing. The flow of the ocean never ceases, and it’s up to us to ride the waves. We can get back up when we fall down and try and again. In everyday life, we
attempt to not get caught up in our leashes. Most importantly, you canwait for the perfect wave, however, that still doesn’t guarantee that you won’t wipe out.
