Warmth is an involuntary act of vulnerability. Warmth illustrates the way our souls silently communicate with each heartbeat.

It relinquishes the stronghold of the scar tissue we often use for protection against inevitable heartbreak. Warmth signifies acceptance and appreciation, a bonding trust.

When we feel accepted, we know we matter. The soul yearns for desires that the heart is too fragile to fathom and the mouth dare not speak.

I suppose that’s why when we meet someone who touches our soul it frightens us. It’s as though someone has read the writings carved in our hearts.

However,  in time we allow ourselves to be loved and mostly intimately, we love. The soul requires self-love but craves love, warmth and acceptance for healing.

We choose the level of intensity.
